As part of the Construction and Maintenance team, you will ensure that all our properties and facilities are maintained at the highest standards while contributing to our projects' execution and success.
Your role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee comprehensive maintenance and construction efforts at a national and international level. Reporting directly to the Construction & Maintenance Manager, this role is critical in ensuring the optimal functioning of all facilities, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the continuous improvement of methods and procedures.This role is essential to ensuring that our accommodations meet operational standards and exceed guest expectations.
Your Journey
Facility Management: Plan, execute, and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of all company properties, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and guest satisfaction. Develop and maintain updated manuals for preventive and predictive maintenance.
Construction and Improvement Projects: Oversee construction, renovation, and continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Coordinate with multiple departments to design and plan effective maintenance for each property.
Technical Expertise: Manage and evaluate all installations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire systems, etc.), proposing appropriate techniques and tools. Ensure compliance with technical and safety standards, and document relevant certifications and approvals.
Compliance and Inspections: Ensure all facilities comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices. Supervise periodic inspections and maintain accurate traceability of reports and revisions.
Supplier and Cost Management: Coordinate qualified suppliers and contractors for various tasks (mechanical, electrical, electronic, IT, etc.). Control costs and resolution timelines through analysis and ongoing monitoring.
Budget Control: Oversee budgets for maintenance and construction projects, identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality. Utilize tools like MS Office, AutoCAD, and Facility Management software to support budget planning and tracking.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with departments such as operations, revenue, and guest services to align on property needs and priorities. Foster a team environment that encourages communication and innovation.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates on maintenance status, project progress, and KPI tracking. Develop detailed reports for management and ensure clear communication across all teams.
