Your role
We are launching an exciting new restaurant in Cascais, offering a fresh and unique dining experience. With a focus on exceptional service, high-quality ingredients, and a vibrant atmosphere, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure operational excellence.
Your Journey
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for leading the pre-opening phase and overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes implementing operational systems, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, efficient service flow, and a motivated team. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong hospitality expertise, financial acumen, and the ability to drive revenue and guest satisfaction:
- Lead the pre-opening phase, ensuring all front-of-house (FOH) operations are implemented efficiently.
- Oversee the setup and implementation of the POS system, end-of-day cash closure procedures, and financial reporting.
- Follow up on OS&E and FF&E arrivals, ensuring proper implementation and setup.
- Manage operational site development, ensuring the restaurant is ready for a successful launch.
- Help to recruit, train, and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring they provide outstanding service and uphold brand standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high food quality and ensure seamless service coordination.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures, including service flow, opening and closing duties, and hygiene standards.
- Drive sales and revenue by implementing strategic initiatives, upselling techniques, and marketing promotions.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, receiving, and stock control.
- Maintain compliance with local health, safety, and labor regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment, ensuring team motivation, performance, and professional growth.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior management and ownership to develop and execute business strategies.
