Your role
We are looking for a Hotel Coordinator to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of two hotel properties. As a Hotel Coordinator, you will oversee daily team activities, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for managing teams, making effective decisions, and ensuring that departmental objectives are met. This role requires a proactive individual with strong people management skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality standards.
Your Journey
  • Manage daily team activities independently, ensuring tasks align with departmental goals.

  • Make operational decisions within the scope of team responsibilities, escalating complex matters to higher management.

  • Ensure team alignment with departmental objectives and organizational standards.

  • Provide direct coaching and mentorship to team members.

  • Conduct regular training to ensure team proficiency and skill development.

  • Support team members' professional growth by identifying development opportunities and offering constructive feedback.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of team functions, hospitality standards, and industry practices.

  • Apply advanced problem-solving skills to address team challenges and streamline processes.

  • Stay updated on new techniques and tools beneficial to team performance.

  • Be responsible for the team's performance, productivity, and quality of outputs.

  • Ensure that team objectives are consistently met within deadlines and established quality standards.

  • Monitor team performance metrics and implement necessary improvements.

  • Lead and motivate a team, managing task delegation and workload distribution effectively.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.

  • Resolve conflicts promptly, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.

  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

  • Develop and maintain team schedules to ensure operational efficiency and adequate staffing coverage.

  • Engage team members actively, maintaining high morale and productivity.

What do you bring to your trip
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in hospitality or team coordination roles.

  • Proven experience in training, mentoring, and managing small-to-medium-sized teams.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to make independent operational decisions and address team challenges proactively.
